Those delicious Galettes and Crêpes are really easy to make, we invite you to do a Galette & Crêpe party where the guest bring the fillings and the host makes the rest. 

 

We shared our favourite Galette and Gaby's favourite crêpe

GALLETES

 

  • To make galettes, place all ingredients into a medium size bowl, mix well with a whisk. Batter should be liquid

  • Let it rest for about 15 minutes, in the mid time, place a crêpe pan/crêpière to heat on a medium high heat

  • Stir the batter with a ladle, it should feel quite dense at this point. 

  • Depending on ladle size place a full or 3/4 of a ladle with batter in the middle of the hot crêpe pan/crêpière

  • Immediately start spreading around the batter, once the galette is detaching it self turn and let it cook 10 seconds, place it on a dish and continue doing the next galettes until there is no more batter

 

GALETTE COMPLÈTE

 

  • To make a Galette Complète, take one galette place it on the crêpe pan/crêpière while the heat is on

  • Spread cheese in the middle to make a bed for the egg

  • Place the egg in the middle and spread around the egg whites 

  • place ham around, start to close the galettes leaving the egg yolk visible (for a soft egg yolk do not leave the galette over 2 minutes on the heat)

  • To make crêpes, place all ingredients into a medium size bowl, mix well with a whisk. Batter shoul be liquid. 

  • Let it rest for about 15 minutes, in the mid time, place a crêpe pan/crêpière to heat on a medium high heat

  • Stir the batter with a ladle, still quite liquid. 

  • Depending on ladle size place a full or 3/4 of a ladle with batter in the middle of the hot crêpe pan/crêpière

  • Immediately start spreading around the batter, once crêpe is detaching it self and be golden brown underneath turn and let it cook 20 seconds, place it on a dish and continue doing the next crêpes until there is no more batter

 

GABY'S FAVOURITE CRÊPE

 

  • To fill a Gaby's favourite crepe, take one place it on the crêpe pan/crêpière while the heat is on

  • Spread chocolate spread in the middle, after banana slices and sprinkle coconut on top

  • Close you crêpe
